“We are working on a game board for visiting 4th grade students. They will learn about the Gold Rush by playing the games that we made during their filed trip to our school.
The game we are making is basically like Monopoly, and the card you pick asks a question, such as: “Where was the first gold nugget found?” If they get it correct, they move their piece anywhere on the board. If they get it wrong, they still get to see the answer and will have another turn.
It is fun and interesting learning about the Gold Rush and putting it into a game. Other kids are learning it too and that makes me really happy.”
