It’s a Geometric World, 1st grade project (Day 33) by Ms. Trowbridge’s First Graders

“This morning we took out our PBL folders and checked to make sure all of our things were done.”  (Ximena)  “We did this so people can see how much work we’ve done when they visit the Shape Museum.”  (Mozes)
“We were practicing what we’re going to say at the Shape Museum with our buddies.  Me and Mozes were taking turns and memorizing what we’re going to say.”  (Yaritza)  “We practiced introducing ourselves and answering questions in front of the whole class.”  (Christian)  “I think practicing is going to make presenting at the Shape Museum much, much, much easier.  Instead of saying, “uh” when we’re asked a question, we’re going to talk all about our shape project.”  (Giovanny)

“We painted water bottle caps and Gatorade bottle caps today.  They are going to be the picnic tables and planters.  We painted the water bottle caps dark blue because the picnic tables are dark blue.”  (Pedro)  “My group painted grass on the kinder playground and we drew lines for our parking lot.”   (Jadine)  “I think the map looks great.”  (Alaiya) IMG_1613
